These solos are generally more lyrical than volume 1. Styles are swing, bossa, ballad, Latin, and waltz. This book has five original duets. While intended for young players about third year or so , they could also benefit more experience players who haven't been exposed to jazz. They may be played by like instruments using parts in score format or with an alto on the first part and a tenor playing a separate part.
